KING ARTH-GRR OF KENNEL-LOT
Encouraging pet adoption from animal shelters through
Interactive Environment, Interaction Design, Storytelling, Gamification
THE PROJECT IN BRIEF
Animal Shelters would like to create more awareness of rescue animals and encourage adoption. Older animals, injured animals, as well as, untrained animals face much difficulty in finding new homes.
Our primary users are people who are interested acquiring a pet.
Other stakeholders are Animal shelters and employees/volunteers at such organizations looking to increase awareness, raise funds and encourage adoption. This interactive experience would be located indoors in public spaces close to animal shelters to drive more traffic to shelters
Our solution is an interactive experience that aims to forge an emotional connection with the animals available for adoption. We highlight the personality of these animals and use humor to present their 'deficiencies' in a positive light.

I took the lead on creating the narrative and interaction design for this experience, I also designed and created the costumes of the 'Ca-knights' and worked on the design of the table and chairs.
